In our very first year, Coast Storm hit the ground running, attracting strong local interest and fielding two men’s teams from day one. As the newest club in the region, we expected growth to take time—but what followed exceeded all expectations.

Through targeted local advertising and growing community buzz, we welcomed a talented group of players who had been waiting for a club closer to home. Many had stepped away from volleyball due to long travel times, and the arrival of a local option reignited their passion. This momentum quickly formed two competitive teams, supported by two dedicated local coaches eager to help shape a brand‑new club and invest in its future.

Entering the Northern Zone competition meant starting at the bottom and earning our place. Led by Coach Michael Marshall, our A team rose rapidly—moving from Division 4 to Division 3 and finishing the season with a determined push into Division 2. We now head into the 2026 season proudly competing in Division 2, a milestone we’re incredibly excited about.

Our B team played a crucial development role for young and emerging players in the region. Under Coach James Bellingham, the team gained valuable match experience, strengthened their skills, and benefited from the guidance of experienced players. Remaining in Division 4 proved ideal, providing a competitive and supportive environment where every player finished the season stronger.

As we close our inaugural year, Coast Storm is proud of the foundation we’ve built. With committed coaches, a clear development pathway, and growing community support, the future of Coast Storm Volleyball is looking bright.
